Vote for a New Face for BroodingYAHero

So, as many of you know, Brooding YA Hero (found here) is getting a book deal! Woooooo!!!!
And… he’s also getting a makeover!
I’m thrilled to reveal that I’ve been working with the very talented Linnea (check out her site here!) on designing four possibilities that capture Broody in all his gemstone-eyed, swoony jawlined, feeling-avoiding, majesty.
And you, dear reader, get to vote on the winner.

The winning image will have extra detail added to it, and will be the new face found on his Twitter account.

But it’s not just about giving Broody a makeover. He’s the generous sort of book boyfriend, and wants to give you a chance to win an exciting prize! Vote on your favorite Broody, and you’ll be entered to win a fabulous prize package!

You see, Broody might not admit it, but he’s a big fan of books. And so, to celebrate his new look, we’ve set up a fun giveaway, where you get to vote on your favorite face, and get extra points for other things.

Two Broody Bundles will be given away! Click on the titles for more info on these awesome books!

#2. I mean, the third is my actual favorite, but he’s not brooding so. He’s more the all-american boy next door who makes up the obviously gonna fail third leg of the triangle (who gets his own romance in a sequel, of course).

For sure #2 is my favorite, He is badass and looks very Brooding like. For Brooding #3 I’m ambivalent about him. He looks like the friendly honorable boy next door that always loses the girl. I’m not going to lie, I kinda wanted Brooding #2 to meet Brooding #3 in a dark alley so he can tear him limb from limb. Now that’s exciting! Linnea did an awesome job on all four of them! =)

Oh man, I like them all. And each one makes me think of a different brooding YA lead in a different book. I think 3 and 4 are my favorites even though they appear to be opposites. Congrats on the book deal!

#1 isn’t brooding enough. He’s almost like the best friend of the protagonist with a developing hatred for Broody.
#2 is a top contender for me, but he doesn’t quite feel like Broody. He meets the mark for his bad boy appeal, but is he mysterious & silent enough? On the plus side, he reminds me of Ian Somerhalder.
#3 isn’t the least bit brooding. He’s Mr. All-American, an all-around great guy, but he’s simply the initial love interest until Broody comes to town.
    #4 is THE Broody McHottiepants.
