So, as many of you know, Brooding YA Hero (found here) is getting a book deal! Woooooo!!!!
And… he’s also getting a makeover!
I’m thrilled to reveal that I’ve been working with the very talented Linnea (check out her site here!) on designing four possibilities that capture Broody in all his gemstone-eyed, swoony jawlined, feeling-avoiding, majesty.
And you, dear reader, get to vote on the winner.
The winning image will have extra detail added to it, and will be the new face found on his Twitter account.
But it’s not just about giving Broody a makeover. He’s the generous sort of book boyfriend, and wants to give you a chance to win an exciting prize! Vote on your favorite Broody, and you’ll be entered to win a fabulous prize package!
You see, Broody might not admit it, but he’s a big fan of books. And so, to celebrate his new look, we’ve set up a fun giveaway, where you get to vote on your favorite face, and get extra points for other things.
Two Broody Bundles will be given away! Click on the titles for more info on these awesome books!

#2 or #4 or #2. Ugh. It’s so hard to choose. D

I love them all! I chose 1 because he’s the most versatile- he could be in a rock band or drive a pickup truck or be a sports star… but he’s the best.

Sorry- toddler interrupted the rest of the comment- he’s the best no matter what he looks like!

Does the guy have to be chiseled & pretty?

I feel like number 4 is definitely the book version of broody but 3 or 1 is the movie version. This was hard!

Not an entry, but I’m going with 4. He’s the broodiest of the broodies. ❤

#4 for sure. 🙂

I couldn’t pick between #2 and #4, voted for #4, and then decided I liked #1 as well.
So basically, I’ll be happy with almost any outcome.
Poor #3 :p

#4 reminds me of Kylo Ren for some reason, and in my book, he’d be the face of broodiness (even if he’d never be a hero). 😀

#4 All the way!

#4 is my favorite too! #3 is not broody enough. He doesn’t look broody at all imo!

My eldest and I both agreed on #2 although she was mildly tempted by Peeta lookalike #3.

My vote goes to #2, definitely!!

#4 may be the broodiest looking, but I’m too used to picturing BroodingYAHero with short, light brown hair (like a trimmed horse’s mane)—so #1.

I picked #3!! I guess I have a thing for jocks…

Number 1 is my favorite, for sure. I love his tweets!

I prefer #3, but he looks too cute (?), I think #1 is a better option for the account, look at those saphire-blue eyes! Any YA heroine would fall for him that way!

#4 is my favorite, he has the brooding attitude and the perfect hair 😊

All hilarious, but 3 is my favourite!

My favorite is #2, Sportish is my least favorite, he is not broody enough

Tough call between #2 and #4. Definitely has to be one of the dark-haired ones.

I chose 1, I guess because he looks the most like the current Broody. Whilst 2 and 4 are attractive, I think they look too mature. I don’t like the sporty one.

My favorite is #1!

One definitely feels the most versatile, but Three and Four stole my heart… ♡

I’m trying to think about why I like #3, because he doesn’t look broody enough, and yet he also looks like the only one who has taken a shower as of late. And broody or not, boys that shower are better than those that don’t. In my most humble of opinions. XD

#2 is my favorite. He just seems to be the most broody out of the four.

My favourite is definitely #4, because it looks the most angsty. And I’m so excited about the book deal! I need more broody YA heroes in my life.

I picked #4 because he’s *just* not-white enough to maybe be not-white, but not threateningly not-white.

I’m definitely stuck between 2 and 4. 3 looks more like the best friend who secretly had a crush on you, and 1 reminds me of the weird kid turned villain / the younger guy who always hit on everyone but no one ever takes him seriously

Definitely #4 it looks like the tall dark and handsome type of guy, perfect for broody.

What an amazing assortment of books! Most of these are currently on my to-read list

Also, #4 is my favorite. He looks the most brooding. #3 is the other guy in the love triangle who doesn’t get picked in the end because he just isn’t the one.

I love them all, especially #3 & #4, but had to go with #3!

I vote for #4. He looks intense and broody!

Honestly, how can anyone read the Twitter page and NOT pick #2?? #1 is more of the soulful writer, #3 is the boy next door, and #4 looks too much like he could be a different race, which NEVER happens in YA novels.(No matter how much I wish it did.)

#1 looks like the current brooding ya hero
